is a member of the quartz family and comes in golden, black, red,
and yellow/blue. It has a cats-eye effect and has a beautiful silky
luster and sheen. The most important source is from South Africa.
Some is also found in Australia and the USA. |

Because the Tiger and Lion are both from the cat family, Tigereye reminds us of the many references to Lions in the Bible. There are well over a hundred! It also makes us think of Africa and the horrific persecution of Christians there. Price
